Social Distancing Policy

Dear Customers & Guests...

We at the Crowne Plaza Marlow, have always placed the Health and Safety of our guests as paramount, and even more so in the current situation.

We have revised all our procedures in line with both National Government recommendations, and InterContinental Hotels Group brand standards.

For all our guests, we offer directional routes into and throughout the hotel to enable guests to keep their distance.

During the lockdown we have been maintaining the safety and security of the hotel enabling the hotel to open on 4th July 2020.

We have 250 parking spaces so guests can park away from each other.

Entrance and exit at the hotel are through directional push doors so you do not need to touch with hands to open.

The hotel public areas have designated routes to follow to ensure social distancing.

Hand sanitisers are available on bespoke stands in all public areas.

Our brand new reception area has 3 separate check in and check out desks each allowing over 2m space from the next.

If you do not require your room to be serviced, let our reception team know so no staff need to access your room during your stay. Once your room is cleaned, our housekeeper will sanitise the room and ensure no-one else enters before your arrival.

We offer all menus in room service with no tray charge, with waiters leaving the tray outside your room and will pick up when you call reception.

All rooms are left 24 hours after the previous guest offering you added safety being used again.

Public area cleaning has been increased with visible cleaners in the public areas at all times.

We will send all invoices to the stated email address to avoid paper contact on departure.

For our conference guests, we have revised the capacity of all our brand new meeting rooms to adhere to social distancing.

We recommend theatre style or classroom seating, with 1 delegate per table.

We will arrange a conference call with the meeting organiser and our operations team, prior to the meeting to ensure all details are correct to minimise the requirement for social contact on the day.

Where possible, all meeting rooms will have been set up and fully sanitised 24 hours prior to delegate’s arrival.

Refreshment breaks will be provided within the meeting room if required.

We are using recyclable disposable cups and spoons and bins are provided in all rooms and can be emptied at every break time.

We have provided additional cleaning and disinfection in our new bedrooms, restaurant and bar to ensure all tables, chair and other surfaces are clean for each new visitor.

We have cleaning stations in the conference centre with staff on hand to clean down all surfaces after every break.

Lunches can be provided in the meeting rooms or in our conservatory which has a capacity to serve all delegates with a 2m gap.

Lunches can be packed lunches, or set food served to order.

For guests staying overnight, the evening meal can be served as in room dining.

We are following the same rules for our staff and all staff will have a full induction training on the new procedures before returning to work.

All staff will wear personal protective equipment as per requirement and temperature checks will be taken upon arrival.
