For Mother's Day we serve our full afternoon tea here: finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and pastries that actually feel made for the occasion, not mass-produced. She can choose Classic or Sparkling (with Prosecco); a selection of high quality teas, and the pace is hers. No one will hurry you.
Book ahead for Mother's Day; we get busy, and we'd rather you had a table with the view. Parking is free (for guests), and access is step-free so grandparents and little ones can join if you're making it a family moment.
Lunch or Dinner at The Glaze Restaurant
If you'd rather have a proper sit-down meal, The Glaze Restaurant is the move.
We hold an AA Rosette and cook Modern British and Indian dishes from seasonal produce —so it's special without being fussy. The room looks out over the terrace, the lawns and the lake; you get daylight, space and a setting that matches the occasion.
We've got an extra special set menu for mothers day, and we're used to dietary needs and big family tables.
A Spa Day for Mum
Quad Club Wellness & Spa is on-site: 19m pool, sauna, steam room, treatment rooms and a terrace where mum can sit with a view of the grounds.
She can come just for the facilities, or book a treatment—massage, facial, or something from the beauty menu—and we can tie it into afternoon tea or lunch so the whole trip feels like one gift.
